A little intro to my plans for the blog
I began my quest to uncover the history and deeds of the 2nd Delaware after I started reenacting in August of 2005. After I started with the 2nd DE, I found that there had never been a regimental history written about the unit. Also, in reading books to learn about the Civil war, it came to my attention that the Second Delaware doesn't get its due. So I have since been working hard to find sources and material to accurately tell the history of this brave unit.

Hey Sean looks good. I would suggest that a good part of the Crazy Delawares be personalized (e.g., identified unit members and their personal accounts you may uncover from their letters and articles) and of course what they did before they were even part of the Army of the Potomac.
I'll help as much as I can given my new job. Good luck.

Sean,
Do you have a copy of the article on the Crazy Delawares from the Civil War Times 1962? It's not much, but if you don't have it, I do - and I will share.

Sean,
I wish you the best here with this as the Message Board and your Historian page were great. But, no one seemed to want to look at that Board so I shut it down, A shame really.
Polly,
The article you are referring to has been posted on the website on the Unit History page since the beginning. Just thought I would let ya know.

your endeavor is a worthwhile one, I used to be a member of the 2nd. and still consider myself a crazy DE. Wayne Mitchell
